  1. Squeeze an ear to wake up the Toniebox 2. If this is the first time you’re playing this Tonieplay Game your Toniebox will need to be connected to Wi-Fi.
  2. Put the Tonieplay Disc on the Toniebox 2 and add the Tonieplay Controller to the middle of the Light Ring.
  3. Each player grabs a set of 3 cards – red or blue. If you want, you can personalize your game with your favorite team stickers!
  4. Press the button and you’re all set.

What is Tonieplay?

Designed for Toniebox 2, Tonieplay turns the Toniebox into a safe and screen-free gaming experience. You’ll need a Tonieplay controller to play any of the Tonieplay games – both are sold separately.

What do I need in order to play a Tonieplay game?

To play a Tonieplay Game you’ll need a Toniebox 2 and a Tonieplay Controller. If it’s the first time the game is being played you’ll also need a WiFi connection, but after this it will work offline too.

Is Tonieplay compatible with Toniebox 1?

No, because of the tech advancements of Tonieplay it will only work on our newest Toniebox – Toniebox 2.

What aged children is Tonieplay suitable for?

There are Tonieplay games for everyone from 3 years and up, with more coming soon.

How much help will my child need with playing a Tonieplay game?

Tonieplay Games are designed to be easy to follow, but we’ve also included a written manual in every box for those who prefer to read up first. Younger players may need a little support at the beginning – but they’ll be off playing independently in no time.

Are Tonieplay games multiplayer?

All our Tonieplay Games are designed for solo play but can also be enjoyed together with friends or family.

How do Tonieplay games appear in the app?

Just like Tonies appear in the app. Once you’ve put a Tonieplay Game on the Toniebox 2 you’ll be able to see it in the ‘Mine’ section of the app.

Can I skip past the intro to the Tonieplay game?

Yep. Most games include a skip feature so you can move forward or back through the story. Intros are usually skippable, but some moments – like answering a quiz question or making a choice in an interactive story – can’t be replayed right away.
