Why is the charging cable so short?

The shorter cable is a mandatory requirement to meet child safety standards for little listeners aged 1+. More info

Can I use a different cable?

For older listeners aged 3+ you use any suitable USB-C cable you have at home, or pick up a longer cable from tonies.com.

What kind of plug adapter can I use?

You can use any suitable plug or charger you have for USB-C. You can also plug it into your phone or laptop. For best results, use a power supply between 5–15 watts (5V, max 1.5A). For more info, check the Warning & Safety instructions in the manual.

WORKS WITH ALL TONIES
All their favorite Tonies and Tonieplay games work with Toniebox 2.

Will our existing Tonies work on the Toniebox 2? Will new tonies® products work on the Toniebox 1?

They will! All their favorite Tonies will still work on Toniebox 2 the same way they work on Toniebox 1. All Tonies will work on Toniebox 1 and Toniebox 2, but Tonieplay Games will only work on Toniebox 2.

Will the Toniebox 2 fit into my existing carrying case or bag?

Your Toniebox 2 fits perfectly in the tonies® Carrying Case and in the tonies® Listen & Play Bag.
Just a heads-up thought – you won’t be able to charge it while it’s in some carriers/bags because of the updated charging connection.

Can I try the Toniebox 2 and Tonieplay items somewhere?

Yep! Many of our retailers have demo stations in store where you can have a play with the new Toniebox 2 in real life. If you can’t make it to one of the stores our website has loads of information. Here you can learn more about Tonieplay.

What bundle option is most suitable for my child?

That’s a good question! It depends on your needs as a family and the age of your little listener, but we always recommend starting with a Toniebox 2 bundle, which can contain one or more Tonies or Tonieplay games to get your listening adventure started.If your kiddo is three or above then we’d definitely go for the Play Set – it’s got everything they need to play our new, interactive games as well as stories and songs from our Tonies. It’ll keep them entertained for hours.

What is the Toniebox 2 made of?

The Toniebox 2 is wrapped in a soft and super durable fabric made from a mix of PVC and cotton – just like materials used in the medical field. It’s been thoroughly tested, made from vegan raw materials, and certified to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, meaning it’s free from harmful substances.
The ears are made from flexible silicone, perfect for little hands. The coloured platform is crafted from sturdy polycarbonate, while the frame underneath is made from ABS (a strong, kid-friendly plastic).
